Return, Refund and Cancellation Policy

RETURN POLICY:  Returns accepted with prior permission up to 30* days from date of purchase (except on sale/clearance items--No returns/refunds).
SHIPPING IS NON-REFUNDABLE
. Customer is responsible for return costs.

All returns must come to our store in California with prior permission. Please email: Susan@rteamsports.com to receive Return Authorization. If no response within 48 hours M-F (PST), please call us at 1-888-664-8326 (internet customer service) or 1-530-894-8592 (store). Please include your order number, along with your name and contact information, including item description and the reason for the return. At your request we will either email an R.A. or grant verbal or other written permission. Please print out the R.A. and include it with your returning package to avoid processing delays. Please see other requirements below.

*RETURNS RECEIVED AFTER 30 DAYS FROM ORIGINAL PURCHASE WILL BE CHARGED A 15% RESTOCKING FEE BASED ON THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE RETURNING ITEM(S), except on those items that were originally on back order. NO RETURNS WILL BE REFUNDED AFTER 40 DAYS FROM PURCHASE DATE. This does not apply to defective merchandise still under the manufacturers warranty. All items returned will be subject to examination. Any restocking charges will be deducted from the amount credited back to your original credit card.

The following conditions also apply. Please read carefully:

To receive a credit/refund, items must not have been worn or used in any way, with the exclusion of an obvious manufacturer's defect (within the original warranty period). ALL items must be in Brand New** condition, as originally shipped. America's Team Sports reserves the right to credit or limit the refund up to 1/2 of the original purchase price for used or damaged items. Items are subject to full inspection by America's Team Sports staff (and that of our vendors in the case of defective items) prior to issuance of a refund. No exceptions.

*Brand New condition means: Shoes--Not worn out of doors or off-carpet. There should be NO visible scuffs, dirt, grass or other stains either inside or out or creases across the instep. Apparel--Never worn or washed, or returned in a dirty or used looking condition. Equipment--Not used, nor with visible scratches, scuffs, stains, etc. Please be considerate when trying on new apparel and shoes or handling equipment. Items returned must be in resale condition.

To avoid a 15% DAMAGE ASSESSMENT, carefully repackage all returning items in their original shipping container or another box large enough to accommodate the item in its original box or other packaging. (If you are returning shoes, please do not use the actual shoe box as the shipping container or a damage assessment will apply. No exceptions!) You may use any shipping carrier: UPS, Fed Ex, USPS etc. However, we highly suggest a shipper who provides a tracking number. Team Sports will not assume responsibility until items reach our store. Therefore, we also suggest letting us know the tracking number, or watching the tracking yourself to make sure your package arrives.

All returns must be shipped to:

DO NOT RETURN YOUR ITEM DIRECTLY TO THE MANUFACTURER UNLESS INSTRUCTED TO DO SO BY AMERICA'S TEAM SPORTS OR IT WILL SIGNIFICANTLY DELAY YOUR REFUND.

Upon item receipt into our store, we will attempt to contact you at the email address you provided. Original shipping costs will not be refunded unless we or the manufacturer were at fault (due to mis-ordering or defective merchandise***; in which case, we will pre-pay return shipping costs by sending you a prepaid UPS Shipping label via regular mail or mailing you a check to cover your costs, not to exceed actual Ground shipping costs. )

***Manufacturer's defects: Do not include normal and reasonable wear and tear of products due to use or misuse or washing methods not recommended by manufacturer by customer. America's Team Sports must be notified of any suspected defect within 30 days. After 30 days, customer is responsible to take the complaint directly to the manufacturer per their item warranty. No exceptions. We will be happy to discuss it and help you resolve the situation if possible. (Please use common sense... Do not wear your shoes or other items in games or practices for over 30 days and then expect a full refund or an exchange if the item rips or tears. This ultimately adds to the cost and pricing of future items unless you are very very sure it is a defect and not from the way you wear the item or due to your weight or size.)

We will diligently work to process your return in a timely manner and meet all of your reasonable expectations. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or if you need help in re-ordering. We sincerely hope having to return an item will not deter you from shopping with us again in the future. Your business is highly valued!

Refund Policy

RETURNS - America's Team Sports will refund the item purchase price, (as stated previously, within the parameters above) for returned items by crediting back your original credit card used to make the purchase. Please notify us if your card has expired or is no longer active so we may consider other alternatives. We cannot and will not refund to a different credit card. America's Team Sports reserves the right to grant store credit only under some circumstances or issue a refund by company check. These refunds will be handled on an individual case basis.

OUT OF STOCK ITEMS - America's Team Sports will refund your entire order amount including sales taxes and shipping if the item chosen is actually not available within a reasonable and timely manner. We diligently try to keep current on our website inventory listings, but this is not always possible or feasible due to rapidly changing inventories and seasonal fluctations in merchandise. We apologize for the occasional inconvenience this may cause. Often we will try to offer comparable alternatives, if available.

EXCEPTION TO A FULL PURCHASE PRICE REFUNDIf an order is placed through our check out cart when sizing or color choices were NOT listed as available and the order was submitted anyway (without first calling or emailing to receive permission to submit such an order), America's Team Sports reserves the right to charge a reasonable transaction surcharge to help off-set our costs of the original credit card transaction and the subesequent refund back to your account. The current charge is $2.00 per $100 in merchandise face value (subject to change without notice), which will be withheld from your refund.

ORDER CANCELLATION - If an order is placed through our check out cart or over the phone and is cancelled after the order enters into processing for reasons other than an item being out of stock, Team Sports reserves the right to charge a reasonable recapture fee for our transaction and/or cancellation expenses (see paragraph above as well). The current charge is $2.00 per $100 in merchandise face value (subject to change without notice). For items being ordered directly from our vendors on your behalf, it is difficult to cancel transactions once the order is placed with them. In Nike's case, they will not stop the shipment and will ship the item to you anyway. DO NOT REFUSE SHIPMENT if this happens. It will be your responsibility to ship the item back to us at your cost. We will then refund your credit card as per our refund policy above, less the cancellation fee as stated above. We will work with you to help resolve the situation as best as we can. Please be aware, transactions and reversals are costly, which ultimately drives the cost of merchandise up for everyone. Please be sure of your purchase prior to ordering. Thank you.
